Kelly Ripa came to the rescue when Nikki Glaser experienced a minor wardrobe mishap during a recent appearance on Live With Kelly and Mark.
The 41-year-old comedian wore a powder blue crepe mini dress with floral appliques on the April 22 episode. While admiring the mod look, Ripa noticed that the dress left little to the imagination when Glaser sat down.
"Oh my God, so chic. Very chic. I love this," Ripa gushed. "Oh wait, you can see your underpants."
Ever quick with a joke, Glaser quipped, "It's just for you." She then crossed her legs, clad in knee-high white boots, and apologized for the brief flash.
"I don't mind at all," Ripa assured her.
"Good, good. I'll send you a picture later," Glaser shot back.
The comedian later shared a roundup of her daytime TV looks on Instagram, including the Self-Portrait dress that caused the stir.
Glaser is no stranger to laughing off awkward moments. During her recent Hulu stand-up special Good Girl, filmed in her hometown of St. Louis, she revealed the personal nature of the material made for an interesting audience.
"It was lots of people from high school, you know, people from my Pilates class, my self-tan lady from the strip mall," she told Ripa and cohost Mark Consuelos. "But it was fun. It's fine, I guess, that my childhood dentist knows about my sex life now. I guess that's appropriate."
Wardrobe malfunctions are a rite of passage for many celebrities. Alix Earle recently handled a similar situation at the 2026 Vanity Fair Oscars after-party when beads from her vintage Bob Mackie dress began flying off. She famously called for a knife to slice the loose strand.
For Glaser, a little flash of underwear was just another moment to turn into comedy gold.
