In a recent Instagram Story video, Kardashian shared her personal connection to the project, stating, "For the past decade, criminal justice reform has been a deeply personal mission of mine. I've seen firsthand how the system can fail, and I've committed myself to fighting for those who have been silenced."
"Theater has a unique power to move us," she continued. "When you experience a story like this, live, it stays with you. It challenges you to see the human being behind the statistics."
The production features acclaimed actors Adrien Brody and Tessa Thompson in leading roles, bringing to life the emotional narrative adapted from a 2015 documentary of the same name. Kardashian emphasized the significance of the project in an official statement, noting, "It’s a raw, honest look at Nick Yarris’s wrongful conviction and the systemic failures that kept him behind bars.
