Kim Zolciak has temporarily lost primary physical custody of her four children amid her ongoing divorce from ex-husband Kroy Biermann, according to court documents obtained on May 1.
The Real Housewives of Atlanta alum and Biermann will continue to share joint legal custody, but Biermann now has the final say on educational, non-emergency medical, and religious decisions.
In a statement to E! News, Zolciak said, "While I want this process to be over for my children more than anything, I am looking forward to a full court date when we will finally be provided with an opportunity to present the truth."
The ruling comes after Biermann filed an emergency request for sole custody last month, alleging Zolciak was "unstable and unfit." Zolciak's lawyer denied the claims, calling them "factually unsupported."
The judge previously ordered Zolciak to complete four therapy sessions before resuming the existing parenting plan. A full court hearing is expected to determine a permanent arrangement.
