Kylie Jenner recently took her 8-year-old daughter, Stormi Webster, on a nostalgic trip back to where the Kardashian-Jenner empire began, but the viewing party ended up being much more emotional than she bargained for.

During an April 1 appearance on the Big Bro With Kid Cudi podcast, the 28-year-old beauty mogul revealed that she decided to show her eldest child an early episode of Keeping Up With the Kardashians. Jenner made sure to curate the experience for her young daughter, carefully fast-forwarding through any mature content to focus on wholesome family moments, such as a playful house party scene.

However, revisiting her childhood on screen triggered an unexpected wave of emotion for the Kylie Cosmetics founder. Jenner, who was just 10 years old when the hit reality series premiered in 2007, confessed that the throwback viewing left her crying in her bedroom.

"I don't know why that happened to me," Jenner explained on the podcast. "Maybe it's my daughter being the same age as I was, and seeing my family, and to be feeling so grateful for all that we built—but also mourning that closeness when we were all living under the same roof. It was very emotional. I didn't know it was gonna hit me like that."

The impromptu reality TV history lesson was prompted by Stormi herself. Now that she is in school, the 8-year-old has started asking more questions about her family's massive level of fame. Jenner noted that Stormi's classmates are already fans of her father, rapper Travis Scott, making her parents' celebrity status a frequent topic of curiosity for the young girl.

Stormi—and eventually her 4-year-old brother, Aire—might not be the only ones Jenner eventually introduces to the family's television legacy. While currently linked to actor Timothée Chalamet, Jenner recently opened up to Vanity Fair about her desire to expand her family. Though she plans to spend the remainder of her twenties focusing on her current children, business ventures, and personal growth, she confirmed that she definitely hopes to have more kids in the future.
