The cast of MTV's iconic reality series Laguna Beach has finally come clean about the secret romances that unfolded off-camera during their high school years. In the reunion special The Reunion: Laguna Beach, which premiered on April 10, former stars revealed decades-old flings and relationships that never made it to air.

Alex Hooser, whose love life was largely absent from the original show, confessed to sharing "a smooch" with Trey Phillips and hinted at a more intimate connection with Dieter Schmitz. She joked during the special, "Dieter and I have … 'dietered.'" Dieter responded with a bashful laugh, while his ex-girlfriend Jessica Smith appeared visibly shocked.

Jessica Smith admitted to her own brief fling with Stephen Colletti, though she downplayed it as "a blip" rather than dating. Stephen agreed, calling their dalliance a "flash in the pan."

In another surprising revelation, Christina Sinclair (née Schuller) and Talan Torriero announced they dated before the cameras started rolling. Christina shared that she was Talan's "first girlfriend" in their early high school years, to which Talan quipped, "That's something that people don't know." Christina expressed surprise, replying, "I thought you forgot!"

Kristin Cavallari dropped perhaps the biggest bombshell, revealing she and Lauren Conrad shared another ex-boyfriend beyond Stephen Colletti and Talan Torriero. While Lauren's brief romance with Doug Reinhardt played out on The Hills, Kristin admitted she dated him during her freshman year of high school.

"Can't you let me have one thing?!" Lauren laughed during the reunion, with Kristin adding, "We've got great taste."

Despite their history of mutual exes causing drama in their teens and early twenties, any lingering feud rumors between Lauren and Kristin were reportedly squashed at the Santa Monica premiere for the reunion on March 25. Lauren credited Stephen Colletti with helping them mend fences.

"It's great, to have honest conversations like that are amazing," Lauren told E! News on the red carpet. "And I think it's important, especially for women, to just find common ground and lift each other up. In this reunion we both talk about our biggest regrets or the way we spoke about each other, the way we treated each other, and we both are such different people now."

The reunion special has provided fans with a rare glimpse into the real relationships that developed behind the scenes of the groundbreaking reality show that premiered in 2004.
