The resolution, filed by [Representative Name], calls on the House committee on higher and technical education to conduct an inquiry, in aid of legislation, into the deaths of [Player 1 Name] and [Player 2 Name]. "We owe it to the families and to the entire academic community to shed light on these deaths," the lawmaker said. "The inquiry will look into possible lapses in health protocols, training regimens, or other factors that may have contributed."

Ateneo, one of the country's premier universities, has expressed full cooperation with any investigation. University officials have declined further comment pending the review.

The resolution has been referred to the committee for deliberation.
