LeAnn Rimes has announced the postponement of two concerts on her 30 Years of Blue Tour as she battles a severe illness she says has left her bedridden.
In an Instagram Story on April 29, the country singer shared that she is unable to travel or perform this week, and that her Spokane and Seattle shows would be rescheduled. The new dates are set for May 31 and June 2, respectively.
“I am truly heartbroken to have to reschedule,” the 43-year-old wrote. “I am so very grateful for your kindness and continued support as I recover.”
Rimes posted a photo of herself under blankets, surrounded by three boxes of tissues, captioned: “I don't know exactly what I have, but it's BRUTAL! Haven't left the bed.”
The health setback comes after a challenging 15th wedding anniversary with husband Eddie Cibrian. She described the anniversary as “filled with tears and worry” due to “very tense, heart wrenching things happening at home with family.”
Despite the difficulties, Rimes expressed gratitude for her relationship, saying, “We know how to ride the waves, hold each other in times of need, mend what needs mending.”
