Leeds Rhinos delivered a stunning eight-try performance to crush Catalans Dragons 46-4 at Headingley, cementing their position at the summit of the Betfred Super League table.
Ash Handley opened the scoring within two minutes, setting the tone for a one-sided affair. Maika Sivo and Ryan Hall added tries before halftime, giving Leeds a 16-0 lead at the break.
The Rhinos exploded out of the blocks in the second half, scoring four tries in a blistering 16-minute spell. Danny Levi, Cooper Jenkins, Brodie Croft, and Hall (his second) all crossed to make it 40-0 before Catalans finally responded through Leo Darrelatour. James McDonnell added an eighth try for Leeds in the penultimate minute.
Jake Connor converted seven of the eight tries, proving instrumental with his playmaking. The win marked Leeds' fourth consecutive victory, while Catalans slipped to their fourth defeat of the season, remaining in sixth place.
"It was a professional performance," Leeds head coach Brad Arthur told BBC Radio Leeds. "We dominated possession and field position. We knew we'd get our rewards eventually."
