Leinster's Tommy O'Brien a Doubt for Champions Cup Final Due to Injury

Leinster wing Tommy O'Brien is an injury concern ahead of Saturday's Investec Champions Cup final against Bordeaux-Begles at San Mames Stadium in Bilbao (14:45 BST). The 27-year-old Ireland international sustained a knock in training and was withdrawn from the matchday squad for Leinster's 68-14 United Rugby Championship victory over Ospreys. A decision on his fitness will be made later in the week.

Other players being monitored include Brian Deeny, Joshua Kenny, and Paddy McCarthy, while centre Hugh Cooney is ruled out for the rest of the season after picking up an injury against Ospreys.

Leinster are seeking a fifth European title, their first since 2018, after losing four finals in the past seven years — to Saracens (2019), La Rochelle (2022 and 2023), and Toulouse (2024).
