Liberal Democrat MP Cameron Thomas has been suspended from the party whip pending the outcome of a police investigation, a party spokesperson confirmed. Thomas, who represents Tewkesbury, was arrested by Gloucestershire Police on Wednesday, according to sources.

Thomas, a former RAF officer, has served as MP for Tewkesbury since the 2024 general election.
