Rather than abandoning the project, Lil Jon chose to revise it, adding new sections that explore grief and the painful journey of processing such a devastating loss. He explained that he wanted readers to see that life includes both highs and lows and to let anyone going through similar pain know they are not alone.
As previously reported, DJ Young Slade's body was found in a pond near his Milton, Georgia home in February, days after he was reported missing. The death was later ruled accidental.
