Lindsie Chrisley Seeks Emergency Protection After Ex-Boyfriend's Alleged Violent Attacks

Lindsie Chrisley has filed for a restraining order against her former boyfriend, David Landsman, following what she describes as multiple violent incidents, including an alleged choking attack that left her feet off the ground.

According to exclusive court documents, Chrisley is asking a judge to mandate that Landsman stay at least 500 yards away from her, citing severe safety concerns for herself and her young son. The filing comes just days after Landsman's arrest on an aggravated assault-strangulation charge related to an April 10 incident.

In her legal petition, Chrisley details a terrifying confrontation that began over a misunderstood photo. She claims that after dinner on April 9, Landsman became verbally aggressive when he saw a picture on her phone that he mistakenly believed showed another man. Although he apologized after realizing the photo was actually of himself, Chrisley says tensions remained high throughout the evening.

"The more I confronted him about the lies he was telling in reference to personal matters, the more he became agitated and aggravated," Chrisley stated in court documents.

When she attempted to leave his home after announcing she wanted to end their two-year relationship, Chrisley alleges Landsman "strangled her multiple times." She describes one particularly harrowing moment where he allegedly choked her with one hand while lifting her completely off the ground.

"I begged him to stop," Chrisley recounted. "I had to punch him near his eyebrows to get him to release me."

According to the filing, the altercation escalated further when Landsman allegedly grabbed her by the throat and threw her outside. Police responding to her call documented visible injuries on her neck and head.

Chrisley's petition also references an earlier incident on February 13, 2026, when she says Landsman restrained her on the ground during a dispute over her dog. She claims he held her wrists together and placed his foot on her ankles to prevent her from leaving before she managed to break free.

The reality television personality, daughter of "Chrisley Knows Best" stars Todd and Julie Chrisley, expressed profound fear in her legal filing, stating she is "extremely concerned" about ongoing threats to her safety. The court has not yet ruled on her request for protection.

Landsman's arrest last week marks the latest development in what appears to be an increasingly volatile situation between the former couple. As the legal process unfolds, Chrisley's petition paints a disturbing picture of domestic violence allegations that have prompted her to seek judicial intervention for her protection.
