Lindsie Chrisley Seeks Protection After Boyfriend's Arrest for Alleged Strangulation

Lindsie Chrisley, known from the reality series Chrisley Knows Best, has filed for a temporary protective order following the arrest of her boyfriend, David Landsman, on charges of aggravated assault and strangulation.

According to legal documents obtained by E! News, the incident unfolded on April 9 in Cherokee County, Georgia. The altercation reportedly began after Landsman saw a photo on Chrisley's phone during dinner, mistakenly believing it depicted another man. Although he realized the photo was of himself, tensions escalated.

Upon returning to Landsman's home, Chrisley expressed a desire to take a break from their two-year relationship. The situation then turned violent. In her petition, Chrisley alleges that Landsman strangled her multiple times, including an instance where he lifted her off the ground by her throat. She claims she repeatedly pleaded for him to stop.

During the struggle, Chrisley states she punched Landsman near his eyebrow. She alleges he then grabbed her by the throat again, opened the door, and threw her outside, where she hit her head on concrete.

The following day, Landsman contacted police to report the punch. Authorities later examined Chrisley, noting lacerations on her head and marks on her neck. Landsman was subsequently arrested on April 10 and booked into the Cherokee County jail. He has since been released.

In her filing, Chrisley, who shares a 13-year-old son with ex-husband Will Campbell, cites fears for her and her child's safety. She is requesting that Landsman stay away from her home and her son's school, cover her legal costs, and be prohibited from disposing of her property.

E! News reports it has been unable to reach Chrisley for comment, and Landsman did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
