Liverpool have made a formal offer for Napoli centre-back Sam Beukema, with the proposed deal valued at £24.2 million (€28m). The 27-year-old Dutch international has emerged as a top target for the Reds as they look to strengthen their defensive options.
In other transfer news, Premier League giants Arsenal, Chelsea and Manchester United have been offered the chance to sign AC Milan winger Rafael Leao. The Portuguese international, 26, could be available for around £43.2m (€50m) as the Serie A side looks to offload him.
