The Nopia, a viral 'harmony machine' that captivated musicians with its 2023 debut, is finally nearing its commercial launch. Creators Martin Grieco and Rocío Gal have confirmed that the instrument is 'basically finished' and will ship within months, priced at around £550.

In an exclusive hands-on demo with MusicRadar, the duo showcased the final design and features. Nopia, which gained a cult following after its first video, is a compact chord and harmony synthesizer designed to simplify complex musical arrangements. The mint-green device focuses on intuitive playability, allowing users to generate rich harmonic progressions with minimal effort.

"We wanted to create a tool that makes music theory accessible," Grieco said. "Nopia isn't just a synth—it's a creative partner." The final version includes updated firmware, a refined interface, and robust build quality. Pre-orders are expected to open soon, with the first units shipping by the end of 2026.
