Pari Kim and Tina Zhu Xi Caruso, who found love on Netflix's Love on the Spectrum, have announced their romantic relationship has ended.

In an Instagram Stories post on April 24, Pari revealed the split, writing, "A few people have been asking if me and Tina are still together. I just wanted to be honest and let you all know that we are just friends now, two trains on different tracks, but I wish her the best and a bright, T-riffic future!"

The couple met during a blind date on the show's third season, where Pari expressed her desire to find a "T-Princess"—a nod to her passion for the Massachusetts Bay Transit Authority (the "T").

Pari elaborated on their breakup with a metaphor befitting her love of trains: "Trains come and go to all different destinations. Some may come into each other's routes and stations then diverge and go their own separate ways just like MBTA Commuter Rail and Amtrak. And that is okay. Both are still valid. Both serve their own purposes. Both will reach the light at the end of the tunnel."

Tina also addressed the breakup on Instagram, posting a photo of the duo dressed as Wicked's Glinda and Elphaba and stating, "It's mutual. @purpleprincesspari and I have spit up. We’re just friends now." She added, "We are like Glinda and Elphaba in the way we advocate for what we believe in. I’m the Elphaba and I can’t wait to show the world how I advocate. Pari will continue to advocate like Glinda. I hope we can still advocate as friends for things we believe in like public transportation and disability advocacy."

Both stars emphasized that there is no ill will and expressed mutual respect as they move forward separately.
