LTIMindtree CEO Venu Lambu has downplayed concerns over AI-driven revenue deflation, describing current pricing pressures as a natural market evolution that demands adaptation, not alarm. The company is restructuring into three business lines, including a new Business AI unit, to position itself for growth.
However, specific revenue targets for the AI unit and a timeline for measurable results have not been disclosed. By proactively building a dedicated AI division, LTIMindtree aims to attract new contracts and retrain employees for higher-value AI roles.
This shift reflects a broader trend: jobs are evolving as AI takes on routine tasks. Workers who identify tasks AI can handle—starting with just three per week—can get a head start on adapting.
