Madonna Surprises LA Crowd with New Song 'Freedom' at Secret 'Club Confessions' Event

Madonna made a surprise appearance at an invite-only event in Los Angeles last night, debuting music from her upcoming album. The iconic pop star took over The Abbey nightclub in West Hollywood for a secret 'Club Confessions' party, where she played new track 'Freedom' for the first time.

Joined by producer Stuart Price and pop star Addison Rae, Madonna took to the DJ booth around 1am. The xx's Romy and Mez Monty also performed during the intimate event.

"Hello children, mutha is here to save you," she told the crowd. "Are you ready to dance for me? Come on, meet me on the dancefloor. Alright, let's go gays, come on! Don't let me down, gays. Gay for the gays! Whoo!"

The event comes ahead of Madonna's new album 'Confessions II', the sequel to her 2005 classic 'Confessions on a Dance Floor', which is set for release on July 3.
