Magic: The Gathering is heading back to Middle-earth with a new set based on The Hobbit. The upcoming release will include reprints of five cards from the earlier Tales of Middle-earth set, offering players a chance to revisit iconic characters and spells.
Unlike previous expansions, this set will not feature pre-constructed decks. However, Wizards of the Coast has announced a cooperative play mode scheduled for next year, adding a new way to experience the game. The co-op mode will allow players to team up against challenges, expanding the social and strategic dimensions of Magic.
Further details on the set's mechanics and release date are expected soon.
