Mark Ballas is showering praise on his former "Dancing with the Stars" partner, Whitney Leavitt, for her impressive Broadway debut.
Leavitt, known for her role on the reality series "The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives," has taken on the iconic role of Roxie Hart in the long-running musical "Chicago." Ballas, who was spotted in New York City, couldn't contain his enthusiasm when asked about her performance.
"She's absolutely crushing it," Ballas said, clearly impressed by Leavitt's transition from reality television to the demanding world of live theater.
When pressed on whether Leavitt should consider a permanent move to Broadway, Ballas was supportive, hinting that she has the talent to make such a career shift successful.
This Broadway stint comes as Leavitt has been publicly contemplating her future, recently admitting that her return to "The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives" is uncertain. Her current success on stage might provide a compelling new direction, especially as her former show has been embroiled in controversy following domestic violence allegations involving other cast members.
