Megan Thee Stallion had an emotional moment on Broadway shortly after confirming her breakup with NBA star Klay Thompson, accusing him of infidelity.
The rapper, who is currently performing an eight-week stint as Zidler in the Tony-winning musical Moulin Rouge! in New York City, was seen tearing up during the curtain call on April 25. In a video circulating on social media, the 31-year-old turned her back to wipe away tears as the audience applauded, while background dancers offered subtle support.
Earlier that day, Megan took to Instagram Stories to allege that the Dallas Mavericks player had cheated on her. "Cheating, had me around your whole family playing house...got 'cold feet,'" she wrote. "Holding you down through all your HORRIBLE mood swings and treatment towards me during your basketball season now you don't know if you can be 'monogamous'????"
She added, "B---h I need a REAL break after this one.., bye yall."
Later, Megan issued a statement to E! News confirming the split: "I've made the decision to end my relationship with Klay. Trust, fidelity and respect are non-negotiable for me in a relationship, and when those values are compromised, there's no real path forward."
She also said she is taking time to prioritize herself and move ahead with peace and clarity.
