Megan Thee Stallion has confirmed she is no longer with NBA star Klay Thompson, citing broken trust as the reason for the split. In a statement to TMZ, the rapper's representative said, "I've made the decision to end my relationship with Klay. Trust, fidelity and respect are non-negotiable for me in a relationship, and when those values are compromised, there's no real path forward. I'm taking this time to prioritize myself and move ahead with peace and clarity."
The breakup was foreshadowed by a cryptic Instagram Story from Megan on Saturday, where she appeared to accuse Thompson of cheating. She wrote, "Cheating, had me around your whole family playing house... got 'cold feet.'" She added, "Holding you down through all your HORRIBLE mood swings and treatment towards me during your basketball season now you don't know if you can be 'monogamous'???? bitch I need a REAL break after this one .. bye yall."
Thompson has not yet responded to requests for comment.
The couple made their relationship public last summer, with Thompson making his first appearance in the background of one of Megan's poolside photos. They later made their red carpet debut together at her Pete & Thomas Foundation Gala in New York City on July 16, 2025.
Despite appearances of a strong relationship, the pair have now parted ways.
