Megan Thee Stallion has ended her relationship with NBA star Klay Thompson, citing infidelity. In a statement to E! News on April 25, the rapper said, "I've made the decision to end my relationship with Klay. Trust, fidelity and respect are non-negotiable for me in a relationship, and when those values are compromised, there's no real path forward."
The breakup announcement came hours after Megan posted a cryptic message on Instagram Stories, accusing Thompson of cheating and treating her poorly during his basketball season. She wrote, "Cheating, had me around your whole family playing house... got 'cold feet.' Holding you down through all your HORRIBLE mood swings and treatment towards me during your basketball season now you don't know if you can be 'monogamous'????"
Megan, 31, and the Dallas Mavericks guard confirmed their romance in July 2025 and made their red carpet debut shortly after. The couple had discussed marriage, with Megan saying in February 2026, "I'm manifesting my engagement too."
E! News has reached out to Thompson's representative for comment but has not yet received a response.
