Metallica has revealed plans for two exclusive U.S. concerts this November, featuring special guest appearances by Suicidal Tendencies and Spiritbox. The performances are set to commemorate the 25th anniversary of Connecticut's Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville.
The metal legends are gearing up for an extensive Las Vegas Sphere residency later this year, but have now added this unique two-night engagement to their calendar.
The shows will take place on November 19 and 21, with Suicidal Tendencies opening the first night and Spiritbox supporting on the second. These concerts will follow Metallica's 'No Repeat Weekend' format, ensuring that no songs are repeated across both dates.
Tickets will be available through single-day and two-day packages. A fan club pre-sale begins Wednesday, April 8, with the general sale launching at 10 a.m. local time on Friday, April 10.
Metallica's upcoming 'Life Burns Faster' residency at the Las Vegas Sphere has already been expanded multiple times due to overwhelming demand, now totaling 24 shows running from October through March. The band continues to implement their innovative 'No Repeat Weekend' approach, which was first introduced during their recent 'M72 World Tour'.
