Michael J. Fox has humorously addressed false rumors of his death that circulated online, confirming he is very much alive and active in his career.

Following a mistakenly published CNN video titled "Remembering the life of actor Michael J. Fox," which has since been removed, the 64-year-old actor took to social media to set the record straight with characteristic wit.

"How do you react when you turn on the TV and CNN is reporting your death?" Fox wrote on Threads. "Do you…A) switch to MNSBC, or whatever they are calling themselves these days, (B) Pour scolding hot water on your lap, if it hurts your fine, (C) Call your wife, hopefully she’s concerned but reassuring, (D) Relax, they do this once every year, (E) Ask yourself wtf?"

He added, "I thought the world was ending, but apparently it’s just me and I’m ok. Love, Mike."

Fox's representative confirmed his well-being, telling TMZ, "Michael is doing great. He was at PaleyFest yesterday. He was on stage and was giving interviews."

Indeed, the actor was photographed at the PaleyFest television festival in Los Angeles on April 7, attending the season three finale screening of his show "Shrinking." He appeared on the red carpet alongside co-stars including Harrison Ford, with whom he shared a warm embrace onstage during the event.

A CNN spokesperson later apologized for the error, stating, "The package was published in error; we have removed it from our platforms and send our apologies to Michael J. Fox and his family."

Fox, who was diagnosed with Parkinson's disease in 1991, has been open about his health journey. In a recent interview, he shared his philosophy for maintaining positivity despite physical challenges.

"You take the good, and you seize it," Fox told People magazine. "I wake up and get the message of what the day is gonna be like, and I try to adjust to it. I keep getting new challenges physically, and I get through it. I roll around in a wheelchair a lot, and it took some getting used to."

The actor continues to work and make public appearances, demonstrating resilience and humor in the face of both his health condition and occasional misinformation about his well-being.
