Michael Jackson's Chimp Bubbles Still Alive, Sanctuary Dismisses AI-Generated Rumors

Michael Jackson's beloved pet chimpanzee, Bubbles, is alive and well at the Center for Great Apes in Wauchula, Florida. The sanctuary has issued a statement debunking recent online rumors that Bubbles had died, calling the claims the result of AI-generated misinformation linked to the upcoming Michael Jackson biopic "Michael."

Contrary to viral posts, the sanctuary confirmed that no visit from Jaafar Jackson, who plays his uncle in the film, has occurred. The center urged fans to rely only on official updates and ignore fabricated images circulating on social media.

Bubbles, now in his late 30s, was famously owned by Jackson in the 1980s and later relocated to the sanctuary, where he has lived for decades alongside other retired great apes.
