Fans of the King of Pop now have a chance to own a piece of music history as Kruse GWS Auctions puts a collection of Michael Jackson's personal items up for bid.
The auction, titled the Medici Royal Family Secret Collection Auction & More, features a range of memorabilia including signed photographs, a military jacket worn by Jackson during a 1990s Eastern Europe tour shortly after the fall of the Berlin Wall, and a signed letter addressed to "Bill."
Among the standout lots are a pair of crystal-encrusted socks, a fedora adorned with a red feather, and a pair of loafers signed in silver ink by the pop legend. The gloves are expected to fetch at least $25,000, while the loafers and fedora carry starting bids of $7,500 each.
The auction comes amid renewed interest in Jackson following the release of the biopic "Michael," which chronicles his early life and the "Bad" tour era. The film has received mixed critical reviews but has energized fans, who have been reported dancing in theaters during screenings.
Bidding opens Saturday, May 2 at 10 AM PT. Organizers anticipate fierce competition for these iconic items, which are sure to be a thriller for collectors.
