The Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) has announced the suspension of the number coding scheme on Monday, May 27, in observance of Eid'l Adha, a major Islamic holiday.
The suspension covers all vehicles exempted from the Unified Vehicular Volume Reduction Program (UVVRP) along major roads in Metro Manila. Motorists are advised to plan their routes accordingly and expect lighter traffic on the day.
Eid'l Adha, also known as the Feast of Sacrifice, is a national holiday in the Philippines, as declared by the government.
