Moby Pledges Entire Coachella 2026 Earnings to Animal Rights Causes

In a bold philanthropic move, musician Moby has announced he will donate 100% of his profits from performing at Coachella 2026 to animal rights organizations. The electronic music icon revealed the decision on April 16, following his two Friday performances on the festival's Mojave stage.

"My main job in life is working as an animal rights activist, and to that end, my hope is to use the revenue and attention from my Coachella show to draw attention to, and financially support, animal rights organisations," Moby stated in an Instagram video.

The funds will be distributed to four prominent animal advocacy groups: Physicians Committee for Responsible Medicine, Mercy for Animals, The Humane League, and Direct Action Everywhere. This commitment comes as Moby approaches a significant personal milestone—celebrating 39 years as a vegan later this year.

Moby's announcement highlights his ongoing dedication to animal welfare, leveraging his platform at one of the world's most prominent music festivals to support causes he has championed for decades. The donation represents a substantial contribution from his festival appearance, though specific financial details were not disclosed.
