Influencer Morgan Riddle has directly addressed swirling rumors of a breakup with her longtime boyfriend, tennis star Taylor Fritz, with a humorous and dismissive comment on social media.
Speculation about the couple's six-year relationship ending began circulating online recently. Riddle, 28, responded directly to an Instagram post that claimed Fritz had "dumped" her. She tagged her boyfriend in the comments, writing, "@taylor_fritz damn did you know about this??"
The playful remark strongly suggests the rumors are unfounded and that the pair remain together.
E! News has contacted a representative for Fritz, who has not yet publicly commented on the speculation. The couple, both 28, first connected in 2020 on the celebrity dating app Raya during the COVID-19 pandemic.
"I had just moved to LA a few weeks before, so I didn't really know anybody," Riddle told E! News in a 2024 interview, recalling their meeting. "I met him and I started traveling with him on the tour a few months later."
Since then, Riddle has become a prominent figure in the tennis world alongside Fritz, who is currently ranked number nine globally. Despite coming from a "hockey family" and having a background in speech and debate and theater, she has immersed herself in the sport.
"Now I would consider myself an expert on tennis," she stated. "I know every single player, I know their strengths and weaknesses, I can tell you anything about the sport, really."
Riddle has also used her platform to advocate for greater female engagement in tennis, creating content aimed at a younger demographic to help grow the sport's fanbase.
The couple has frequently shared milestones of their relationship publicly, including celebrating their one-year anniversary in 2021. Riddle's latest social media interaction appears to be her way of setting the record straight with characteristic wit.
