In a bizarre incident that has left cast and crew puzzled, unexplained footage of disembodied feet was captured during the filming of the upcoming horror movie "Huwag Kang Titingin."
During an interview with GMA News, actors Sofia Pablo and Allen Ansay recounted the chilling moment when their director abruptly halted a scene after spotting mysterious feet in the camera frame. The scene involved Pablo being dragged, requiring a low-angle shot that inadvertently captured the anomaly.
"Kita mo talaga [sa camera] dalawa talaga silang nakatayo," Pablo stated, describing the clear image of two feet that suddenly vanished.
Both actors insisted that no one was standing in the location before filming began, a directive explicitly given by the director. Pablo's personal assistant corroborated their account, confirming they saw no one in the area at that moment.
"Kasi wala talagang nakatayo," Pablo added, noting that crew members searched for anyone who might have been caught on camera but found no one.
Ansay supported this, explaining that everyone was positioned on the opposite side of the set, making it impossible for anyone to be in the shot.
The incident occurred during the early morning hours, between 3 and 4 AM, adding to the eerie atmosphere. When asked about her reaction upon seeing the footage, Pablo admitted to feeling frightened but emphasized the need to complete their work.
"Natakot po ako siyempre, pero nung time na 'yon kailangang tapusin yung work," she said.
Despite the unsettling occurrence, the cast and crew have chosen to treat it with humor, turning the unexplained event into an inside joke on set. "Huwag Kang Titingin" is scheduled for theatrical release on April 15.
