Natasha Lyonne Addresses Flight Incident, Misses Drew Barrymore Interview

Natasha Lyonne has broken her silence after reports surfaced that she was escorted off a Delta flight earlier this week. The actress took to social media to share her perspective on the travel disruption, which caused her to miss a scheduled interview with Drew Barrymore.

According to initial reports from Page Six, the incident occurred on a red-eye flight from Los Angeles to New York City on April 7, shortly after Lyonne attended the Los Angeles premiere of Euphoria season three. Flight crew allegedly noticed the actress dozing off behind sunglasses without her seatbelt fastened and escorted her off the plane when she reportedly failed to comply with instructions.

Lyonne addressed the situation indirectly on X (formerly Twitter) on April 9, writing: "My heart is with all the unpaid TSA agents at our airports. Sure was looking forward to speaking honestly with @DrewBarrymore yesterday but guess wasn't in the cards."

The Poker Face and Russian Doll star also questioned the reporting outlet, asking: "Who owns page six/New York Post now again?"

Representatives for both Lyonne and Delta have not responded to requests for comment regarding the incident.

The flight disruption comes as Lyonne has been publicly navigating personal challenges. In January, she revealed she had experienced a relapse after nearly a decade of sobriety. Last month, she shared a positive update on her recovery journey, posting on X: "Proud to report this kid is doing a whole lot better & back on her feet. Want to thank our recovery communities & the fans who stood by & were so supportive."

Lyonne emphasized the collective nature of recovery in her previous statements, writing: "Recovery is a lifelong process. Anyone out there struggling, remember you're not alone."
