The Magic did not disclose contract terms, but Vucevic agreed to a one-year, $3.9 million deal, according to an ESPN report. He spent 8 1/2 seasons with Orlando in his first stint with the team and was a two-time All-Star.

Vucevic averaged a double-double in six of his eight full seasons with the Magic. He was comfortably headed toward another in season No. 9 when Orlando dealt him to the Chicago Bulls before the 2021 trade deadline.

The 35-year-old Vucevic spent five seasons with the Bulls before being traded to the Boston Celtics prior to last season's trade deadline. He averaged 15.1 points and 8.4 rebounds in 64 overall games but his numbers were just 9.7 and 6.6, respectively, in 16 games (one start) with Boston.

Vucevic was drafted by the Philadelphia 76ers in the first round (No. 16 overall) of the 2011 NBA Draft and was traded to Orlando after his rookie campaign.

Vucevic has career averages of 17.1 points and 10.3 rebounds and has knocked down 998 3-pointers in 1,036 games (957 starts).

Orlando also announced the signings of guard Jevon Carter and forward Jonathan Isaac.

Carter agreed to a one-year, $3.5 million deal, per multiple reports. Isaac was recently released before his $14.5 million salary for 2026-27 became guaranteed.

Carter, 30, averaged 7.2 points, 2.3 assists and 20.4 minutes in 30 games (one start) last season. Isaac, 28, averaged 2.6 points, 2.5 rebounds and 10.0 minutes, all career lows, in 52 games, all as a reserve. — Field Level Media/Reuters
