NBA Star Anthony Edwards Faces United Front from Baby Mamas in Child Support Battle

In an unusual legal twist, two of Anthony Edwards' baby mamas have joined forces to fight the Minnesota Timberwolves star in court over child support.

According to court documents obtained exclusively, Ayesha Howard—who shares daughter Aubri, born in 2024, with Edwards—has enlisted the help of Alexandria Desroches, the mother of Edwards' son Amir. Alexandria provided a sworn declaration stating that Edwards has been paying her voluntary monthly child support via wire transfers from a Beverly Hills bank account.

Ayesha argues this proves Edwards has substantial ties to California, contradicting his claims of no connection to the state. The case has been ongoing for over a year, with Ayesha seeking a Los Angeles County judge to set child support, while Edwards wants the matter handled in Georgia.

Edwards' legal team has fired back, accusing Ayesha of filing "meritless and harassing motions" and using the case to publicly attack him with inflammatory accusations. His lawyer stated, "I have never encountered a litigant who has so flagrantly and repeatedly abused the judicial process. It is a campaign of harassment, obstruction and extortion that has made a mockery of the court systems in two states."

A California judge previously ruled the court lacks jurisdiction over Edwards, but Ayesha continues to fight. A Georgia judge ordered the case to be handled there and instructed Ayesha to pay Edwards' legal fees. In response, Edwards has moved to seal the case and restrict Ayesha's motions.

The alliance between the two mothers marks a rare and strategic move in high-profile custody disputes, potentially shifting the dynamics of the ongoing legal battle.
