Newly released 911 dispatch audio captures the frantic moments after the step-grandmother of "Summer House" star West Wilson was fatally shot. The call, obtained by TMZ, details a report of a woman shot by her son-in-law.
The suspect is West Wilson's cousin, Dakota Sweeney, who has been charged with first-degree murder in the death of 75-year-old Gayle R. Wilson. According to the audio, dispatchers relayed that the caller claimed a subject had shot his mother-in-law.
Court documents reveal that a witness told police Sweeney sat quietly in the same room as the victim for 30 minutes before allegedly shooting her with a handgun. The argument earlier that evening reportedly centered on Sweeney's failure to help with household chores.
When officers arrived at the Carroll County residence on April 22, they found Wilson dead. Sweeney was taken into custody without incident and was found to be carrying a holster, according to police.
Both Wilson's father and Sweeney's mother are stepchildren of the victim. Representatives for West Wilson have not yet commented on the tragic incident.
