New Photos Show Mike Vrabel and Dianna Russini Kissing 6 Years Before Affair Allegations

Additional images have surfaced showing New England Patriots head coach Mike Vrabel and NFL reporter Dianna Russini in a compromising position—six years before the scandal that recently rocked the sports world.

The photos, obtained by Page Six, depict Vrabel and Russini at Tribeca Tavern around midnight on March 11, 2020. In one shot, Vrabel is seen leaning in to kiss Russini; in others, he has his hand on her arm and leg. At the time, Vrabel had been married to his wife Jen for 21 years, and they share two sons. He was then the head coach of the Tennessee Titans. Russini, 43, was working for ESPN and was six months away from marrying Shake Shack executive Kevin Goldschmidt. The couple have since married and have two children.

The new images come just days after Vrabel announced he would skip part of the upcoming NFL draft to seek counseling. In a statement, he said: "I promised my family, this organization and this team that I was going to give them the best version of me that I can possibly give them. In order to do so, I have committed to seeking counseling, starting this weekend." He added: "This is something that I have given a lot of thought to and is something I would advise a player to do if I was counseling them. I have always wanted to lead by example, and I believe this is what I have to do to be the best husband, father and coach that I possibly can be."

Russini resigned from her position at The Athletic after the initial photos emerged, denying any misconduct. In her resignation statement, she said: "I have no interest in submitting to a public inquiry that has already caused far more damage than I am willing to accept. Rather than allowing this to continue, I have decided to step aside now—before my current contract expires on June 30."

E! News has reached out to representatives for Russini and Vrabel but has not received a response.
