NGO Calls on Philippines to Exclude Plant Protection from EU Trade Negotiations

A non-governmental organization has urged the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) to remove plant protection issues from the agenda of trade talks with the European Union. The group argues that including such measures could undermine local agriculture and food safety standards. The DTI has yet to respond to the request.
