Comedian Nikki Glaser is feeling a bit sheepish after sharing that Leonardo DiCaprio sent her pasta as a thank-you gift. Speaking exclusively to E! News at the 2026 TIME100 Gala in New York City on April 23, Glaser admitted, "Honestly the amount of press it got, I was a little embarrassed. Like, 'Oh, he's gonna think that I'm just bragging about it.'"
The revelation came after Glaser appeared on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon on April 21, where she recounted how DiCaprio responded to her Golden Globes joke about his 1991 Teen Beat interview. During the Globes, Glaser roasted the actor by reading from the old interview, noting his favorite food was "pasta, pasta, and more pasta." In return, DiCaprio sent her three baskets of pasta. "He sent me pasta. So funny. So good," she said on Fallon's show. "Part of me was like, 'Does Leo want to smash?' ... Then I was like, 'The type of girl he goes for, he wouldn't send pasta to.' It was a dry pasta."
Glaser, who was named one of TIME's Most Influential People of 2026, explained that she typically sends flowers to celebrities she roasts at award shows as a token of appreciation. DiCaprio was the only one who reciprocated. At the Golden Globes, the Titanic star was seen laughing and giving her a thumbs-up from the audience.
Despite the playful exchange, Glaser now worries the story may have come across as boastful. "I was just trying to come up with a funny story for Fallon," she laughed. "I only have a few."
