Nu-Metal Titans MGK and Fred Durst Unleash Fiery Collaboration 'FIX UR FACE'

In a seismic fusion of musical generations, genre-defying artist MGK has joined forces with nu-metal pioneer Fred Durst of Limp Bizkit for a blistering new single titled 'FIX UR FACE.' The track marks MGK's first release since his 2025 album 'Lost Americana' and represents the duo's inaugural studio collaboration, despite a friendship forged over a decade ago.

Their creative partnership traces back to 2014, when the artists first toured together. The bond was further cemented in 2019 during a memorable Los Angeles performance where MGK joined Limp Bizkit on stage for a ferocious rendition of the band's iconic anthem 'Break Stuff.'

'FIX UR FACE' serves as a full-throttle homage to the aggressive, guitar-driven sound that defined the nu-metal era. The track channels the raw energy of late-'90s and early-2000s rock, with Durst's signature vocal style blending seamlessly with MGK's dynamic delivery. Accompanying the release is a music video directed by Sam Cahill, filmed across multiple international cities—including London, Dublin, Berlin, and Los Angeles—during MGK's expansive 'Lost Americana' world tour.

MGK's tour schedule remains packed, with dates resuming on May 15 in Wheatland, California, and running through July 1 in Ridgefield, Washington. The artist is also set to headline major festivals later this year, including Summer Sonic in Tokyo this August and Rock in Rio in September.

The collaboration arrives amid a period of high visibility for MGK, who recently made headlines when a fan experienced a fall on stage during a performance of 'Bloody Valentine' at London's O2 Arena. Fortunately, the incident resulted in no serious injuries.

With 'FIX UR FACE,' MGK and Durst not only bridge musical eras but also reaffirm the enduring appeal of nu-metal's confrontational spirit, offering fans a potent dose of nostalgia fused with contemporary edge.
