Samsung is expected to unveil its next generation of foldables at a Galaxy Unpacked event next month, but now we know what they might look like, courtesy of some leaked images published by Android Headlines. Images shared by the publication include case designs for two new Galaxy Z Fold 8 models and the Galaxy Z Flip 8, each giving a good look at the phones inside the cases too.
This could be our closest look so far at Samsung’s new wide-style foldable, following a leak of a purported dummy unit in May and a fresh photo of an apparent dummy unit from leaker Ice Universe this week. There are some similarities between all of these leaks: They show a wide, passport-style form factor, with a selfie camera built into the cover display, and a double-camera setup on the rear.
The wider foldable only appears to have two rear cameras, with three found on previous Z Fold models.

There are no images of the internal display when it’s fully open, but this rear shot gives us a good idea of the wide format.

Recent leaks suggest the wide foldable may in fact be called the Z Fold 8, with Samsung’s more familiar, narrower book-style foldable rebranded the Z Fold 8 Ultra. Images of what appears to be that phone, along with the Z Flip 8, were also shared by Android Headlines, though these look similar to the current Flip 7 and Fold 7 models.
These images reportedly show the new Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra (seen left) and the Galaxy Z Flip 8 (right).
