Oura has unveiled its latest smart ring, the Oura Ring 5, which is noticeably smaller and lighter than its predecessor. The design overhaul aims to make the wearable more comfortable for all-day and overnight use, addressing a common complaint about earlier models.
Alongside the hardware changes, Oura is rolling out a significant software update. New features include insights for users taking GLP-1 medications, such as tracking changes in heart rate and sleep patterns during weight loss. The ring also gains improved activity and readiness scoring.
Pricing starts at $329, with preorders open now and shipping in June. Existing Oura Ring users will receive many of the software updates for free, though some advanced features may require the paid subscription.
