Pasig Youth Council Pushes to End Beauty Pageants in Schools

The Sangguniang Kabataan (SK) of Pasig City has filed a resolution opposing the holding of muse (beauty pageant) competitions in schools, arguing that such events objectify students and promote harmful beauty standards. The resolution, filed by the Pasig SK Federation, calls for alternative activities that focus on talent, intelligence, and character development. It will be submitted to the city council for further deliberation.
