Passenger Executes TNVS Driver Point-Blank Inside Vehicle in Caloocan

A passenger shot and killed a TNVS (Transport Network Vehicle Service) driver inside his vehicle in Caloocan City on Thursday night, according to police reports.

The incident occurred around 8:30 PM along a street in Barangay 17. The victim, identified as 39-year-old Michael Cruz, was found slumped in the driver's seat with a single gunshot wound to the head.

Authorities said CCTV footage shows a male passenger in the back seat pulling out a firearm and shooting the driver before fleeing the scene. The suspect remains at large.

Police are investigating possible motives, including robbery or a personal grudge. The TNVS driver had been working for a ride-hailing app for two years.

The victim's family has called for immediate justice.
