Pauly D is drawing a hard line when it comes to his daughter Amabella watching his reality TV past. The Jersey Shore star, 45, admitted he won't let his 12-year-old watch the early seasons of the show that made him famous — and he's using parental controls to enforce it.
"She's allowed to watch Family Vacation," Pauly exclusively told E! News at the Jersey Shore Family Vacation final season premiere on April 23. "But not the earlier episodes."
While the DJ is cautious about Amabella viewing his wilder days, he's open to her pursuing reality TV in the future — with conditions. "We'd have to probably talk about that. There'd be some rules maybe, but I support her one hundred percent," he said.
When his co-star Vinny Guadagnino jokingly suggested she try out for Shark Tank, Pauly laughed: "Young entrepreneurs, I support it."
Pauly, who shares Amabella with ex Amanda Markert, usually keeps his daughter out of the spotlight but has shared glimpses of their bond. In 2018, he told People he set up a DJ room for her, calling her his "little mini-me." Two years ago, he revealed she got an iPhone 15 for Christmas, which improved their communication while he travels — though he bans TikTok and restricts screen time based on grades.
"That girl is my everything," Pauly said on Double Shot at Love in 2023. "It's the first time I ever loved something and somebody more than I love myself."
