Perry Ng Commits to Cardiff City with New Two-Year Deal

Cardiff City right-back Perry Ng has signed a contract extension that will keep him at the club until 2028, the Championship side announced on Monday.

The 29-year-old, who joined from Crewe Alexandra in January 2021, has made 233 appearances for the Bluebirds, scoring 15 goals. A two-time player of the season, Ng played a key role in Cardiff's promotion from League One this campaign, featuring in 40 matches.

"I'm delighted to have signed this new deal. I've loved my time at the club so far," Ng told Cardiff's website. "I've grown a lot in my five-and-a-half years in south Wales. I feel like I've made a home for myself here."

Ng is one of three first-team players whose contracts were expiring this summer, along with left-back Joel Bagan and midfielder Ryan Wintle. Both Bagan and Wintle were instrumental in the promotion push, with Bagan named in the League One Team of the Season and Wintle winning the club's player of the year and players' player of the year awards. The club remains hopeful they will also sign new deals.
