PEZA Approves P370-Million Solar Panel Factory in Batangas

The Philippine Economic Zone Authority (PEZA) has registered a new solar manufacturing project valued at P370 million in Batangas province. The facility will produce solar panels and components, aiming to boost the country's renewable energy capacity and create local jobs. PEZA Director General Charito Plaza said the project aligns with the government's push for green energy and sustainable industrialization. Construction is expected to begin within the year, with operations starting in 2026.
