Phoenix Super LPG Signs Johnathan Williams as New Import, Parts Ways with James Dickey III

The Phoenix Super LPG Fuel Masters have made a change in their import lineup for the ongoing PBA Commissioner's Cup, tapping big man Johnathan Williams to replace James Dickey III.

Williams, a 6-foot-9 forward who played college basketball at Gonzaga, is expected to bolster Phoenix's frontline as they aim to turn around their campaign. The team currently holds a 2-4 record.

Dickey III, who averaged 13.8 points and 15.2 rebounds in six games, was released due to performance concerns. The move comes as Phoenix looks to regain momentum in the conference.

Williams previously saw action in the NBA with the Los Angeles Lakers and Washington Wizards, and has also played in the G League and overseas. He is expected to make his debut for Phoenix in their upcoming game against the Blackwater Bossing.

"We believe Johnathan's experience and skillset will be a great fit for our system," a team official said. "We thank James for his contributions and wish him well."
