Theoretical physicist Michio Kaku, co-founder of String Field Theory, has shared his insights on what happens after death, challenging both spiritual and materialist perspectives. In a recent interview, Kaku stated that human perception is limited to a tiny sliver of reality, and that other dimensions likely exist beyond our sensory reach.
Kaku firmly dismissed the possibility of ghosts, calling them "almost certainly impossible." However, he suggested that consciousness may not simply end at death. According to Kaku, the electrical activity in the brain ceases, but the information contained in our neural connections might persist in some form, possibly as part of a larger cosmic consciousness.
The physicist emphasized that while we cannot yet prove what happens after death, quantum mechanics and string theory open the door to possibilities beyond traditional physics. He warned that the truth about reality is far stranger than most people imagine, and that humanity is only beginning to understand the nature of existence.
