The simmering tension between podcast personalities Alex Cooper and Alix Earle has boiled over into a public confrontation, with Cooper directly challenging Earle to clarify the nature of their reported feud.
In a recent TikTok video, Cooper, 31, called out Earle, 25, for what she described as "passive aggressive" online behavior. This came after Earle reposted a TikTok that compared Cooper to an "ambulance chaser" and a "grim reaper" for her interview style.
"Alix Earle, hey girl, the passive aggressive reposts and the likes and commenting on things—I got to call you out here," Cooper stated in her video. "You're going to need to get specific and just say what you got to say about me. There's no NDA, no one is stopping you. Stop hiding behind other people and just say it yourself."
The roots of the discord trace back to March 2025, when Earle's podcast Hot Mess was removed from Cooper's Unwell Network, a startup to which Earle was one of the first creators to sign. Following the removal, rumors of a falling out began to circulate, with some fans blaming Cooper for the podcast's hiatus.
Cooper quickly addressed these claims in a separate TikTok at the time, asserting, "Alix not being able to podcast has nothing to do with Unwell. Idk why she can't/what's going on. Unwell gave her everything back she owns her IP."
Earle, for her part, has been cryptic about the split. In a March TikTok, she mentioned being at a "crossroads" and contemplating a shift toward vlogging. She previously described the situation to WSJ. Magazine as "a little bit of a hot mess" behind the scenes. Her social media activity has further fueled speculation; last August, after her astrology app suggested it was a time for "revenge," she teased a follower asking about Cooper with, "How much time do you have?"
Cooper, however, appears to have lost patience with the ambiguity. In her latest message, she pressed Earle to clarify any grievances publicly.
"What's the beef?" Cooper continued. "Because I'm really tired of waking up and seeing you using this big drama to distract from other s--t going online for you. Not interested, I know what happened, and so do you."
She concluded by putting the ball in Earle's court, stating, "Unless you actually have something to say, I'm out. This is over."
With Earle currently filming a Netflix reality series, this public call-out may not be the final chapter in their ongoing saga. For now, the microphone has been passed, and the digital world awaits Earle's response.
