The third edition of the Rangtang Beijing Tour has officially launched, bringing a vibrant showcase of Tibetan intangible cultural heritage to the capital. The event features hundreds of exquisite artifacts, hands-on craft workshops, and a unique cultural market, inviting visitors to explore the rich traditions of the plateau. Organized by the Zambhala cultural initiative from Rangtang County in Aba Prefecture, the tour aims to promote Tibetan culture through interactive experiences and exhibitions. Attendees can immerse themselves in traditional crafts, from thangka painting to weaving, and enjoy the distinct flavors of highland culture.
"Explore hundreds of exquisite intangible cultural heritage pieces, immerse yourself in hands-on craft workshops, and stroll through a unique cultural market," said the organizers.
The event runs for a limited time in Beijing, offering a rare opportunity to engage with Tibetan heritage without traveling to the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau. This year's tour emphasizes cultural exchange and preservation, highlighting the artistry and traditions of the Rangtang region.
